Kathmandu-Today Pakistan Embassy Kathmandu arranged a charted flight for repatriation of stranded Pakistanis from Nepal to Pakistan. Pakistanis who arrived Nepal for various purposes and in different time frame were stranded in Nepal after ban on international flights due to resurge in COVID-19 cases.
Charted flight of Himalaya Airlines H95891 from Kathmandu to Lahore, Pakistan not only enabled return of 62 Pakistanis but also facilitated rerun of 14 Nepalese Doctors who are studying in various medical institutions of Pakistan. Same aircraft will also bring back 14 Nepalese from Pakistan. Flight took off from TIA Kathmandu at 9:50 am is scheduled to return today around 4:00 pm.
