February-Kathmandu.Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) is organizing Joint- Lhosar Cultural event- 2018 at Hotel Hyatt Regency on February 11. TAAN has been organizing Joint- Lhosar Cultural Event every year to celebrate Lhosar. Lhosar is the New Year festival of different ethnic groups living across the country. TAAN will be organizing the event focusing the ethnic groups especially Gurung, Tamang, Sherpa, Holymo & others.
The program chief guest is the former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda).The event’s highlight will be cultural performance by the representatives from the communities – Gurung, Tamang, Sherpa, Holymo and Magar along with other popular Nepalese Artist – Mausam Gurung, Himal Ghale, Milan Lama, Raju Master, Balchi Dhurbe, Gombu Sherpa, Bhumika Giri, Doma Holymo, Mahadev Tripathi along others.
TAAN Joint- Lhosar Cultural event is being organized with the main objective to preserve our cultural attractions and promote them as a tourism product in international arena and enhances friendly relations among tourism entrepreneurs. TAAN President Nava Raj Dahal said that the major objective to organize this event is to preserve Nepal’s timeless culture and tradition having friendly and brotherhood relationship among tourism entrepreneur. “This event will definitely help to promote adventure tourism as well as Nepal’s culture and tradition” he added.
