UAE – World-renowned Nepali pastry and bakery chef Human Prasad Limbu has been elected as the President of the Nepal Chef Society UAE.

A special gathering was held in Dubai on Monday in the presence of Arun Adhikari, Central President of the International Nepali Chef Society, to bid farewell to outgoing President Uddhav Shrestha and welcome the newly appointed executive committee members, including President Limbu.

During the event, Central President Arun Adhikari extended his best wishes to the newly elected team, emphasizing the society’s mission to unite Nepali chefs worldwide, promote Nepali cuisine, enhance food quality, and provide institutional support for the professional growth of Nepali chefs.

Newly appointed President Human Limbu reaffirmed his commitment to protecting the rights and interests of the chef community and elevating Nepali cuisine on the international stage.

“Nepal is a land of rich culture, diverse flavors, and time-honored culinary traditions. My commitment is to introduce authentic, organic, innovative, molecular, Traditional Nepalese cuisine to more than 190 countries, ensuring that the world truly experiences the essence of our food. With the collaboration of international Nepali professional chefs, we aim to showcase traditional dishes made from locally sourced ingredients from all 76 districts of Nepal.”

He further added:

“From classic recipes to molecular gastronomy, we will preserve authenticity while embracing innovation. This global movement is not just about food—it’s about culture, heritage, and pride. Together, we will make Nepalese cuisine known and celebrated worldwide.”
Who is Human Prasad Limbu?

Born in the remote mountainous village of Chhathar Panchakanya-3, Wasmeri, Terhathum, Nepal, Human Limbu began his culinary journey at the age of 10, learning traditional cooking techniques from his grandfather and mother.

He pursued his higher education at Tribhuvan University, Nepal, before advancing his culinary training at Lenôtre Paris, specializing in pastry and bakery. His career took off when he joined the pre-opening team at the Sofitel Hotel JBR Marina, Dubai. Since then, he has worked with some of the world’s most prestigious luxury hospitality brands, including:
